Good news!
After over three years of writing weekly “columns”, I have proved what I set out to prove—that I can write humorously about something of interest each week. I am now going to change my use of this website for a while.
Instead of writing regular “articles”, I plan to post random updates about my current writing projects. They are:
- A humorous book about retirement planning for those of us for whom the term “wealth management” is faintly amusing.
- One or more collections of the weekly articles that currently appear on this website. Each article will be examined, updated, extended if necessary, and polished. My good friend Dave Bedson (who I’ve known since we both started school) has agreed to help me by drawing cartoons related to many of the articles.
- Making my one-act play scripts (two of which are award-winners) available for purchase.
Most importantly, I am going to learn how to market my writing!
In the meantime, if you’re the owner, publisher or editor of a “local” newspaper, feel free to read some of my articles with a view to hiring me to contribute to your newspaper on a regular basis.
